I Am Love

Emma (Tilda Swinton) has it all. As the wife of the head of the Recchi clan, a long-established Milanese fashion dynasty, she is rich, elegant and carefree. She moves almost somnambulistically through a life of endless dinner parties and meetings with her grown children. But then she meets chef Antonio. At first, she is fascinated by his creations, but soon by the young man himself. Without meaning to, Emma is seduced by Antonio's extraordinary cooking and falls under his spell. Antonio will eventually not only cut off her hair, but also show her a world beyond the Recchi family. For the first time, she realizes who she really is; and with Antonio, she experiences a passion that was previously foreign to her in her luxurious yet cold married life.
