Eleven-year-old Emma has always thought that her family is like everyone else. Until her dad Thomas comes out as trans one morning and declares that he wants to live as a woman from now on. While Thomas gradually becomes the elegantly dressed Agnete, the relationship between father and daughter also changes. And Emma learns that perhaps change is precisely what is "quite normal".
