The astrophysicist's ashes will be laid to rest next to the graves of Isaac Newton and Charles Darwin. At the time of filming, the European Union has grown from six to 28 countries. Seven countries are seeking membership of the European Union. One wants out again: Britain. In North Berwick, fisherman Sam Lowe's crab and lobster baskets are full. Sam has been at sea for seven hours. Carolina works in London but has flown to Italy to visit her family. She has been out since 5am to spend a weekend at home. In Pianella in Abruzzo, her family runs a pasta factory, and her mum is very sceptical about the merits of the E.U. In Iceland, a young singer is preparing her band's performance. For Sandor in Hungary, the term at university has just ended, and he is starting a job in construction now, to earn money in the semester break. He will work flat-out, because his family is poor.
