9 pm Central European Time. It's a Friday evening, so the weekend starts now! Particularly if you are a party animal. Katla from Iceland has a gig tonight. Together with her best friend, she is "Between Mountains". The girls still attend school, but already attract enough fans to fill big venues. Not tonight, though, when they are playing in a cozy pub close to home. Student Sandor has a holiday job on a building site during the day and is now back in his village Szalmatercs. His girlfriend Jenny lives next door and comes to visit him. It is already midnight in the steel city of Magnitogorsk on the Urals. Nastja Videeva has passed her hairdresser's exam today. She admires President Putin. She would like to stay in Magnitogorsk, where she would certainly find work in the steelworks. But her mother, still quite young herself, vehemently advises her against it: the pollution is getting worse every year, every second person has cancer. Elsewhere, you can find a much better life, is her clear message to her daughter.
